How are you different from a regular gym trainer?
Regular gym trainers are great. Many of them are educated, passionate, and inspired to help others. However, they are all directed and controlled by their employer. Their methods of training are mostly cookie cutter and not specifically directed to individual needs. I on the other hand work with people on an individual basis, learning about their goals and more specifically what they need to do in order to attain them. Furthermore I'm able to mobilize my services and keep an out of the ordinary schedule.
Do you charge extra for nutritional guidance and a diet plan?
There is no additional charge. This is part of the service that I offer. That being said, I will not offer a diet plan right away. It will take some time for me to determine what an individual's current diet looks like and what they need nutrition wise to get to the shape that they want to be in.
What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?
Anyone who has seen me on YouTube knows that I am a minimalist when it comes to working out. I have said that getting into great shape and becoming fit is simple. There is no need to complicate the matter. My own personal equipment consists of a pull up station, with adjustable bench, a pair of adjustable dumbbells, and some resistance bands. That's it. Period. I firmly believe in exercising efficiently and it would be impossible to do so with a bunch of different types of equipment. To specifically answer the question though, I would recommend a pair of adjustable dumbbells and an all in one home gym. Bowflex makes a few very nice ones.
What is the cost of the service
The initial consultation is free of charge and can be done in person or virtually. Workout sessions are charged by the hour but it also depends on whether I come to you or you come to me. The charge per hour for a mobile visit is $50. If we work out at my gym it will be $35.
